Twelve people will be joining a 960-kilometer cycling tour from HCMC, Vietnam to Bangkok, Thailand from March 6 to 14.

According to Viking Travel and Media that is arranging the tour, the seven-day program will take in tourist attractions in Cambodia and Thailand. The participants will also have a chance to meet Bangkok’s cycling association. The participants will return to HCMC by air with the sponsorship of VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJetAir).

Tran Xuan Hung, director of Viking, says his firm has made careful preparations as this is the first such cycling tour.

“This is a brand new tourism product. After the tour, we will consider organizing a similar tour to Myanmar,” Hung noted.
