VietNamNet Bridge – More than 300 antiques selected from 45,600 artifacts of 133 collections of HCMC Museum are being displayed at the museum in ‘Artifacts from collections of HCMC Museum’ to mark the 35th birthday of the museum.

Guests inspect artifacts from ‘Artifacts from collections of HCMC Museum’ exhibition in the city’s District 1.

 

The exhibition features some typical artifacts from the excavation of Hoi Son Pagoda in 2012, vestiges of feudal dynasties in the South and HCMC, revolutionary history of Saigonese, traditional crafts, arts and cultures, customs and religions as well as development in the integration.

The show provides visitors with a summary on the history, culture and related development and establishment of the South over the past 300 years. To the show, visitors will have a chance to witness war artifacts, sketches on daily life in wartime, old traditional music instruments, royal documents and objects, statues and many antiques made of ceramic, terracotta and metal.

The show will run till July next year at the museum, 65 Ly Tu Trong Street in District 1.
