This is part of the company’s annual effort to reach out and create an impact on different local communities across Vietnam. Despite a challenging year, HEINEKEN Vietnam was able to to support a total of 5,300 people in 42 communities across Vietnam through the program – with free medical check-ups, packages with Tet essentials and a Tet market in the spirit of sharing and togetherness.
Reaching out to needy communities and sharing Tet with them have long become a tradition at HEINEKEN Vietnam. This year with the strengthened collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the company expanded the activities to cover both the “An” and the “Vui” aspects of Tet, with the aim to bring to people a Happy and Healthy New Year. The program was also joined by hundreds of HEINEKEN Vietnam employees nationwide.
“Throughout our history of 32 years, people and local communities make one of the most important priorities in our sustainable development strategy,” shared Mr. Alexander Koch, Managing Director, HEINEKEN Vietnam.
“2023 was a challenging year for us, yet we remain committed to sharing Tet with the under-privileged communities. We hope that through the ‘HEINEKEN Cares’ initiative in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, we will be ‘Joining Hands towards a happy and healthy Tet’ and sharing a refreshed hope for a better year ahead with Vietnamese people,” he said.
