According to Cao Tri Dung, president of the Da Nang Tourism Association, visitors will be able to enjoy all the sights that the coastal city has to offer in 12 minutes, with each tour costing around VND2.5 - 2.7 million (roughly US$120) per passenger.

Each flight will carry up to four passengers, who view famous spots of sightseeing in Da Nang, including the Marble Mountains, the Han River, and the Linh Ung Pagoda.

For this year’s Reunification Day celebrations the number of holidaymakers is set to increase sharply compared to the same period in 2020 and 2021 as the COVID-19 outbreak is easing nationally.

Between April 29 and May 3 roughly 400 domestic flights are estimated to fly to Da Nang, whilst crowds of tourists will travel to the coastal city by other means of transport.

Local authorities also plan to hold an “Enjoy Da Nang” festival in an effort to push tourism recovery after the COVID-19 outbreak.
