VietNamNet Bridge – Japanese Kaneko Hiromi won the second stage of the sixth Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Tournament, Biwase Cup 2016 on Wednesday.

Hiromi won the 110km stage from Gia Tan 2 Commune, Thong Nhat District to Bao Loc City in Lam Dong Province.

Hiromi also seized the yellow jersey from An Giang’s Nguyen Thi That for the best overall time after two stages. She also won the red jersey award as Queen of the Mountain with 30 points.

Hiromi said she was very happy to win the stage and credited her teammates for her success.

Japan lead the team race, followed by An Giang, Thailand and Indonesia.

Today, cyclists will continue on to the 115km stage from Bao Loc to Da Lat City.

The event drew eight local teams and six foreign ones from Thailand, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
