VietNamNet Bridge – A photo exhibition entitled, “Look”, opened on April 20, at the Culture and Art Exhibition Center, 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi; introducing over 20 black-and-white photos by photographer Dang Xuan Truong, featuring Hmong ethnic minority children in northern Vietnam.

Truong took these pictures during his trips on motorbike to Son La, Lai Chau, Lao Cai and Ha Giang province over many years.

His trips to northern mountain provinces were not for taking photos. His motorbike always carried clothes and confectionary for children.

Someone asked him, “why the exhibition is named “Look”, and while there are only Hmong kids in his photos?” He answered: “Because they are life”.
