VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi has just ratified the administrative boundary expansion plan for its southern and western districts, including Ha Dong, Thanh Xuan, Dong Da, Cau Giay and Tu Liem.

Accordingly, the city intends to expand these localities to cover a total area of 2,630 ha with population of 207,000 people by 2030 and 240,000 people by 2050.

It aims upgrade infrastructure, improve environmental conditions, develop modern urban areas, protect traditional heritage value as well as bring into full play favorable conditions and potential of the region to create distinguished characteristics.

In addition, the plan will create a modern urban space for the capital and build high-rise buildings to serve for services, trade, finance, culture, entertainment, tourism and sports to meet the demands for housing and reduce pressure on infrastructure in the city.
