On the morning of National Day, Ho Chi Minh City awoke to golden sunlight, with temperatures at a comfortable 26°C, perfect for outdoor activities. The city's central areas quickly filled with people eager to celebrate the nation’s independence, with vibrant red and yellow flags adorning every street, alley, and corner.

Throughout the National Day holiday, Ho Chi Minh City is beautifully decorated with the national flag, turning the streets into a sea of red. This festive atmosphere not only brings joy but also serves as a powerful reminder of the nation’s pride and unity. 

Young people, dressed in traditional ao dai and carrying the national flag, flocked to iconic landmarks such as the Central Post Office early in the morning to take pictures and celebrate the holiday. 

At the Independence Palace, a long line of visitors formed even before the ticket booth opened, highlighting the enthusiasm of locals and tourists alike to engage in the day’s festivities. 

As the sun rose higher, the 30/4 Park became a popular spot for young people to enjoy a morning coffee on the grass, taking advantage of the beautiful weather. “It rained the past two days, but today the sun is shining, so we decided to come out and enjoy the city,” shared Thanh Thanh, a resident of Hoc Mon. 

In District 10, a café has become a favorite among young people due to its creatively decorated drinks, each adorned with the image of the national flag. 

This year’s National Day holiday is extended to four days (from August 31 to September 3), offering residents ample time to engage in meaningful and fun-filled activities.
