The 2026 Asian Open Pickleball Championship (AOPC) will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from July 12-17, with a total prize pool of $55,000.

As the tournament is part of the Asian Pickleball Federation (AFP) system, players competing at AOPC 2026 will earn ranking points directly recognized by the World Pickleball Federation (WPF).

The tournament is expected to attract leading pickleball players from countries and territories across Asia.

Among the Vietnamese stars confirmed for the event are Truong Vinh Hien, Do Minh Quan and Trinh Linh Giang in the men’s categories, along with Sophia Huynh Tran Ngoc Nhi and Sophia Phuong Anh in the women’s competition.

AOPC 2026 will feature multiple categories for both professional and amateur players.

In addition to Open events for elite athletes, the tournament will also include age-group divisions such as 18+, 35+ and 45+, expanding participation opportunities for the broader pickleball community.

The tournament is jointly organized by ATV and the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis and Pickleball Federation.
