A high-altitude fireworks show is expected to be set off at the entrance of the Saigon River Tunnel in District 2, while a low-range fireworks display is set to be staged at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11 on New Year’s Eve. Each fireworks display will last for 15 minutes.

Along with the much-awaited fireworks display, countdown parties are due to transpire at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street from 8 p.m. on December 31, which is anticipated to bring plenty of excitement to local residents.

Furthermore, art performances will get underway in Thu Duc City and other districts on December 31 and January 1, 2024.

The city will also hold many sports activities, including a martial arts festival in front of the southern city’s theater in District 1, and a bicycle race on Mai Chi Tho street.
