VietNamNet Bridge – Ho Chi Minh City came out on top with 20 gold and six silver medals at the 2012 National Junior Vovinam Championships, which officially wrapped up in the southern province of Ca Mau on June 24.

Can Tho finished second with 12 golds, seven silvers and three bronzes, followed by Thanh Hoa with four golds, four silvers and two bronzes.

The five-day event brought together 429 martial artists on 30 teams from across the country.

The participants were divided into 13-15 and 16-18 age groups and vied for 56 sets of medals in both men’s and women’s combat and demonstration events.
