The Hai Ba Trung Temple in Me Linh district is the large temple worshipping two national heroes – Trung Sisters - Trung Trac and Trung Nhi.

The Hat Mon Temple in Phuc Tho district also worships Trung Sisters.

The Phu Dong Temple in Gia Lam district worships Saint Giong, the patron of peace to the country.

The Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple in Hoan Kiem district worships Van Xuong De Quan who was in charge of literature and examinations and the national hero Tran Hung Dao.

The 500-year-old Tay Dang communal house in Ba Vi District is one of the oldest temples in Vietnam, with very unique architecture.

Hanoi currently has 9 special national monuments of the total 2,300 ranked monuments in the city.

To preserve and promote the value of these relics, Hanoi invested nearly VND1 trillion ($50 million) from the budget and social resources to preserved 600 relics last year.
