The young players, most of them 19 years old, will have three friendly matches against local teams during their tour from December 18 to 28 in Chonburi.

They will first play PTT Raynon, who are to play in Thailand's first division tournament in the next season, on December 20.

Four days later, the Vietnamese team will meet Chonburi FC, Thai Premier League's first runner-up.

Then they will play Suphanburi FC, who are the national No 6, on December 27 in Bangkok.

The V-League will kick off in early January, with Hoang Anh Gia Lai playing Sanna Khanh Hoa in the first match.

Their U19 players, trained by the Hoang Anh Gia Lai-Arsenal JMG Academy, will be making their V-League debut after most of the veteran and senior players were released from contract.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai were ranked ninth out of 12 teams in the 2014 season.
