Hoang Sa Yearbook to be translated into foreign languages

Da Nang has tasked the city’s Historical Science Association to coordinate with the Foreign Affairs Department to translate the “Hoang Sa Yearbook” into foreign languagues, including English and Chinese.

The Municipal Peoples’ Committee of Da Nang has tasked the city’s Historical Science Association to coordinate with the Foreign Affairs Department to translate the “Hoang Sa (Paracel archipelago) Yearbook” into foreign languagues, including English and Chinese.

The "Hoang Sa Yearbook", which was published in January 2011, includes four parts: Hoang Sa belongs to Viet Nam, State management over Hoang Sa District, Hoang Sa and historical evidences, Da Nang people’s feelings about Hoang Sa.

The yearbook also consists of historical evidences of Viet Nam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and stories of 24 witnesses who used to live and work on the islands in the 50s-70s.
