The Hoi An International Food Festival 2019 is scheduled to take place between April 11 and 14 at the An Hoi Sculpture Park in the ancient town of Hoi An, according to the Centre for Culture, Sports, Radio, and Television in Hoi An.
The theme of this year’s festival is the “Cao Lau Challenge” which aims to introduce some of the traditional dishes of Hoi An to visitors. The event is expected to showcase chefs cooking some these dishes in a unique way to provide delicious results for guests.
In addition to an arts program, chefs from Germany, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam will be on hand to cook up a variety of delicious dishes at the event.
The Hoi An International Food Festival 2019 has been held annually since 2016. Through the event, the ancient town of Hoi An is able to introduce and promote the value of local cuisine as well as display the area's unique culture to local and international visitors.
It also provides a venue for residents, and visitors to meet international chefs from around the world.
