Recent surveys show high anticipation among users for the Magic V6, even before its official debut - proof of the rising buzz around this next-gen foldable device.

Honor has been on a winning streak with its latest devices. The Honor Magic 8 Pro received widespread praise for its stunning display, while the Power 2 stunned the market with an industry-first 10,000mAh battery. Now, all eyes are on the Magic V6.

All eyes on MWC 2026

With Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 just days away, Honor has confirmed it will unveil two products: the Magic V6 and a surprising newcomer named Robot Phone. The latter features a robotic arm and gimbal-mounted camera, designed to interact with physical objects.

Still, the Magic V6 is stealing the spotlight. As the foldable market heats up, leaks suggest Honor is ready to push the limits.

One of the most striking rumors is the inclusion of a 7,000mAh battery - unprecedented for a foldable. If true, the Magic V6 would eclipse even last year’s Magic V5, which already impressed with a 5,820mAh cell.

Battery life has long been a weakness for foldables due to space constraints. If Honor succeeds in fitting a 7,000mAh pack into the Magic V6, it would set a new benchmark - especially as competitors like Samsung and Apple struggle to match that endurance.

Performance is another key area. The Magic V5, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, was a strong performer across multitasking and gaming. The V6 is rumored to take this further with Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip - expected to deliver industry-leading power.

Camera system takes center stage

While the Magic V5 featured a triple rear setup (50MP + 50MP + 64MP) and dual 20MP front cameras, its photography still lagged behind Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 in some scenarios.

With the Magic V6, Honor appears determined to close that gap. Credible source Digital Chat Station reports the phone will house a 200MP main sensor, possibly joined by a periscope telephoto lens. If accurate, the upgrade could make the V6 a top-tier camera phone - not just a foldable marvel.

Honor may also be offering the Magic V6 in four finishes: Snow White, Sunrise Gold, Red Hare, and Velvet Black. However, this info comes from a deleted post, so it awaits official confirmation.

More than just powerful

One standout feature could be BeiDou satellite communication, enabling messaging and location services in areas without cellular coverage. This feature would be a major asset for travelers and emergency use.

Competitors under pressure

In past comparisons, the Magic V5 was already ahead of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in several areas - except camera performance. If Honor delivers on the V6’s rumored 200MP system, it could finally overtake Samsung on all fronts.

Very little is known about the Galaxy Z Fold 8, but Samsung will likely need to boost its charging speeds, battery capacity, and biometric security to stay competitive.

Meanwhile, Apple’s iPhone Fold - expected to launch this year - might feature a 5,500mAh battery, the largest ever in an iPhone, but still trailing behind even last year’s Magic V5.

As with all leaks, details about the Magic V6 remain unconfirmed. However, confirmation is imminent: Honor will officially unveil the Magic V6 during MWC 2026 in Barcelona, March 2–5.

If the rumors prove true, the Honor Magic V6 could set a new gold standard for foldable smartphones - combining power, innovation, and endurance in one game-changing device.
