VietNamNet Bridge – Over three months since the legendary turtle in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake was treated in a tank, a second old turtle has not appeared. Dr. Ha Dinh Duc, a senior researcher of the Hoan Kiem turtle, continued affirming that there is only one turtle in the lake.

Some said that there are two turtles and some said there are up to three turtles in the lake. However, Dr. Duc, who has made research of the Hoan Kiem turtle for 20 years, persisted that there is only one turtle.
“Until now, the fact has proven clearly and convincingly that there is only one turtle in the lake. During over three months the turtle was treated in a tank, we did not see any turtle appear in the lake,” he told Dat Viet online newspaper.
