VietNamNet Bridge – Hai Au Aviation will launch a new daily air route between Da Nang and Hue City – the first of its kind – for aerial sightseeing tours from April 25.

A seaplane of Hai Au Aviation carries tourists to destinations in Vietnam. The airline plans to launch its new sightseeing trips between Da Nang and Hue in April. 


The airline said it will use a 12-passenger Cessna plane to operate flights each day with three options of 30 minutes, 40 minutes and 80 minutes between Da Nang International Airport and Phu Bai Airport.

Tourists will get bird’s eye views from during the trip over pristine beaches, Son Tra and Ba Na mountains, Hai Van Pass of Da Nang and part of the Cham Islands off the coast of Hoi An.

Hue, the UNESCO-recognised former imperial city, and the Huong (perfume) River as well as Tam Giang Lagoon will be included in the trip.

The airline said it offers ticket costs for each trip at US$87 for 30 minutes, $155 for 40 minutes and $266 for an 80 minute trip.

Daily flights will take off at 8am, 9am, 10.20am, 12am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm from Phu Bai Airport in Hue and Da Nang Airport.

Hai Au Aviation, under the Thien Minh Group, said it would expand the service from Da Nang to Quang Binh, Phan Thiet and Nha Trang in the near future.

The Thien Minh Group, in joint-venture with budget airline AirAsia, also plans to launch new air routes in Vietnam and international destination in the third quarter of this year.
