As many as 33 Chinese including 13 managers, 20 experts and technical workers are working without work permits at the Dak Glei wind power plant project located in Dak Glei district in Kon Tum.
Tan Tan Nhat Company, the developer of the Dak Glei wind power project, may have to pay fines of VND60-75 million for this violation.
The Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in Dak Nong Province reported that 23 organizations and enterprises in the province employ 202 foreign workers, including 167 Chinese. Of these foreign workers, 75 have been granted a work permit, 11 are exempt from work permit, and 116 have not yet had a work permit.
In Dak Lak, the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs discovered 70 Chinese nationals working at wind power projects without a work permit.
The Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Gia Lai province reported that there are 46 foreigners who have not been granted work permits in the province.
