A group of experts of the Ha Tinh Province Museum have discovered 139 intact royal documents and some other rotten documents written by ancient Chinese and Nom characters on do paper at the Ca Temple in Ha Tinh Province.

The documents were dated back to the Le Dynasty wind with handwriting, clear and sharp, dating back to the Le Dynasty (1740-1786) and the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1925).

These were the royal documents conferring the God title to the Ca Temple and other ancient temples in the region.

Mr. Le Ba Hanh - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Museum - said the museum is learning the contents of the documents.

The museum will coordinate with the Library of Thua Thien Hue Province and the General Science Library in Ho Chi Minh City to digitize the data in Nom and Chinese scripts in Ha Tinh province, including ancient royal documents, to serve research and long-term preservation.

This is the largest number of ancient documents found in Ha Tinh so far.
