According to the organisers Hoi An municipal People’s Committee and the Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam at a press conference held on May 9, the event aims to celebrate 10 years since the establishment of a sister relationship between Hoi An city of Vietnam and Szentendre city of Hungary in 2014.

Maestro Vilmos Oláh is a famous violinist in the field of classical music. He has won many prestigious international awards, including an Emmy Award in 2018.

He has since become an honorary member of many music associations and organisations around the world.
