Huong Ly to compete for Miss Tourism International 2021 crown

The company that holds the copyright of Miss Tourism International pageant in Vietnam has announced that Hoang Huong Ly will represent Vietnam in the pageant that will be held in Malaysia in December.

Huong Ly was born in 1996 in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai. She is 1m75 tall, weighs 54 kg, with body measurements 86-60-96 cm. A graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Huong Ly reached the Top 5 and won the best body prize of Miss Vietnam Sea 2016. As a model, she has experience in taking photos and performing on the catwalk. In 2019, she received the Bronze Award of the Korean - Vietnam Fashion Festival Awards in South Korea.

The National Director of Miss Tourism International in Vietnam said: “For the past five years, Huong Ly has always made effort to develop her own image, to take part in many social and community activities and has obtained outstanding achievements in the field of modeling. Currently, Ly has a very beautiful body, outstanding height and professional performance. With all of these factors, I believe that Ly is good enough to represent Vietnam at an international competition and I hope that the Vietnamese representative will make many achievements this year."

Miss Tourism International is an annual beauty contest that has been held since 1994 in Malaysia with the participation of about 80 countries. The pageant highlights beauty and diversity in culture, tourism, and heritage around the world.

So far, 11 Vietnamese representatives have participated in this pageant, including Ngoc Oanh (2002), Vu Huong Giang (2003), Duong Thuy Linh (2004), Phung Ngoc Yen (2005), Ngoc Diem (2008), Phan Hoang Thu (2013), Nguyen Dieu Linh (2014) and Tran Thi Giao Linh (2018).

Many international beauty contests have been postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic, but Miss Tourism International has organized online sub-competitions. The finale is scheduled to be held online on December 18 in Malaysia.
