A pedestrian road along Huong River decked with a rare and valuable wood has attracted many young people although its construction has not yet been completed.

The 400-metre road uses Lim (Erythrophleum fordii) wood. 

    


 

These days, the walkway lures many visitors, particularly young people who came to see and take photos. 

 

The hand-rail has also set up along the two sides of the road

The wood used imported from South Africa costs VND5.7 billion (USD259,090) 

 

Many parterres are displayed along the road 

 

The end of the road is near Hue General Hospital and Thua Thien-Hue Province People’s Committee 

 

The road is part of Huong River planning project funded by Korea International Co-operation Agency.
