The cannons were set up in preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
Officers and soldiers of the Tat thang Artillery Brigade will operate the cannons on the morning of September 2, with the anthem of Vietnam as background music.
Cannons are numbered and have the National Emblem.
The cannons have been re-painted.
This is a 105 mm M2A1 cannon, one of four basic types of cannon of the artillery.
On August 31 afternoon, the soldiers set the cannons on fire at Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
105-mm bullets manufactured by Z133 Factory were used in the rehearsal.
