VietNamNet Bridge - With a projected cost of VND2.5 billion per meter for the belt road No. 1 in Hanoi, a new record for the most expensive road in Vietnam is about to be made.

The Hanoi belt road No. 1 has made consecutive records as "the most expensive road in Vietnam". The first record was made in 2006, with the Kim Lien - O Cho Dua section of 1.1 km long, which was costed VND700 million ($35,000)/m. In 2012, another record was identified for O Cho Dua - Hoang Cau section, with a length of 547m and the cost of VND1.4 billion/m ($70,000).
