The decision will apply to those entering Vietnam for diplomatic, business, trade and market research purposes, investors, experts, high-skilled laborers, managers of enterprises and their family members, in line with Vietnam’s negotiations with each country.

The decision will also be applied to those having contact with these immigrants during their trips to Vietnam.

However, immigrants must strictly comply with anti-pandemic regulations and should not have contact with the community to prevent cross-infection or the transmission of the coronavirus to the community during their trips.

If immigrants work in many localities, they must have specific travel plans in advance and get the approval of the authorities of localities.

Both immigrants and those in contact with them are required to monitor their health and inform the local authorities and healthcare agencies if they developed symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.

In addition, immigrants must make a list of people in contact with them during their trips, stay in separate rooms and have international health insurance or receive a commitment from agencies or organizations which invite them to Vietnam to pay the treatment costs if they are infected with Covid-19.

After 14 days, if immigrants want to continue staying in Vietnam, they must complete immigration procedures and comply with anti-pandemic regulations.
