Specifically, by the end of 2020, all ministries and provinces had their Local Government Service Platform (LGSP), which is connected to the national data sharing and integration platform.

The total number of local systems connected to the national data sharing and integration platform is 220 information systems of 90 agencies, including 85 LGSPs of ministries, sectors and localities.

As of July 23, 2010 the total number of transactions made through this platform was nearly 10.3 million. The total number of transactions made through the platform in 2021 is expected to be more than 24 million, with about 80,000 transactions made per day.

Regarding the construction of databases for e-Government, the Ministry of Public Security has granted personal identification numbers to about 98 million citizens, with the data entered into the national database on population; and completed the pilot implementation of software under the national database project on population at the police agencies of 16 provinces and cities. The Ministry of Public Security has connected and shared the data with ministries and agencies across the country, starting from July 1.

The Vietnam Social Security is cleaning, synchronizing data to enrich the database specialized in social insurance, ready to provide data for the national database on insurance. This agency’s data related to workers in industrial zones and background disease data is used in epidemic prevention and vaccination for workers in industrial zones in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province. The data will be connected to and shared with the Ministry of Health, the General Department of Taxation, the Employment Department (Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Justice...

The shared civil status registration and management information system of the Ministry of Justice has been deployed in all 63 provinces and cities with more than 18,400 users at more than 11,000 commune-level People's Committees, 712 Justice departments and 63 Departments of Justice.

On the system, there is data of birth registration of over 19 million people, marriage registration data of 3.7 million couples; death registration data of over 2.6 million people and 5.2 million other data.

In terms of building information systems to innovate working methods of state agencies, the results are positive.

Through the national axis of document communication, 2.1 million documents were sent between state administrative agencies. The figure was more than 5.8 million electronic documents sent and received between state administrative agencies after over two years since this system was put into operation.

The information system serving the government (e-Cabinet) has served 36 conferences and meetings of the Government and helped reduce the issuance of over 299,000 paper documents.

The National Reporting Information System of the government has been connected to 15 ministries, agencies and 59 provinces and cities (there are still four provinces that have not been connected: Bac Kan, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Vinh Long).
