VietNamNet Bridge – Using the eye to bend an iron bar, using throat to lift a girl or using the head to bend an iron bar are the unique performances by members of the Thien Mon Dao kungfu sect in Ung Hoa district, Hanoi.

Thien Mon Dao is a traditional martial art of Vietnam. The founder is Mr. Nguyen Khac Cong, a mandarin in the 18th century in Hoa Nam commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi.

Thien Mon Dao has undergone several generations. The sect has toured many places in and outside the country.


Coach Do Dang Tuan is about to use an iron hook to lift a 7 kg water bucket by his eye. 

Tuan practiced this act for 8 years. He can also use his eye to drag a 4-ton car.

Coach Nguyen Manh Quan perform the act named “Ngu luc cong phu”, using his throat to lift a young girl of over 40kg.
