Indian actress Avika Gor who is the one of the most famous Television actress participated in a charity press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on June 24.

Avika Gor and Echannel-VTVcab5, a Vietnamese film broadcasting channel handed over US$30,000 for Cho Ray Hospital’s social and charity division to offer free treatment to disadvantaged children, gave US$5,000 for a Charity Fund of Dan tri Newspaper,

the 19-year-old actress had an exchange with loal media and audiences to talk about her career as well as her role of Roli on popular show "Sasural Simar Ka," a recently-aired serial at 8:00 pm daily on Echannel.

Avika Gor has won the Best Child Artist of the Indian Television Academy Awards for three consecutive years (2008, 2009, and 2010).In December 2014, Avika Gor made her first visit to Vietnam.She is well known in Vietnam for her role in the Indian film named Balika Vadhu (Child Bride).
