The drama was directed by Raju Murugan, starring famous Indian actor and actresses Kamal Haasan, Gautami, Niveda Thomas, and Esther Anil.
“Papanasam” tells the story of Suyambulingam, an uneducated but hard-working cable TV operator. He leads a peaceful life in the town of Papanasam with his wife and two daughters.
When some unexpected events make his family come under suspicion of murder, he throws himself into danger to save his family from the impending nightmare.
What Suyambulingam does to keep his family from going to prison is the crux of this thriller.
The film screening is free of charge but not open to children under 16 years old. The film is subtitled in both Vietnamese and English with a duration of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Those interested may directly contact the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center at phone number 02436332083 or email culture@indembassy.com.vn.
