* Front boosts ties with Guangxi Political Consultative Conference

The leader of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front said he hoped the Front and the Guangxi Political Consultative Conference would contribute to comprehensive strategic co-operation, solidarity and friendship between Viet Nam and China.

At a reception for a Guangxi Conference delegation in Ha Noi yesterday, Front central committee chairman Huynh Dam thanked the Chinese Party, State and people for their valuable support and assistance to the Vietnamese Party, State and people in their past struggles for national liberation and present national construction and development.

Guangxi Conference chairman Ma Tieshan said he hoped the relationship between Guangxi branches and localities and the Front in Vietnamese cities and provinces would be developed in various fields.
