Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa on Wednesday urged embassy staff in Paris, France, to enhance alertness following explosion outside the building.

"The Foreign Minister has talked to the Indonesian ambassador in Paris and asked all staff in the embassy and other Indonesian nationals to increase their vigilance," a press statement from the Foreign Ministry said here.

It also said that the embassy should monitor situation of nationals in France.

The bomb exploded at around 5:45 a.m. in Paris (0445 GMT), with wide damage being reported but there was no casualty.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident. It is also unclear about the target of the attack.
