VietNamNet Bridge – Many Hanoians ignore road signs to violate traffic rules, causing traffic chaos in the capital city.

Whenever the red light turns on at Dai Co Viet – Hue intersection,

vehicles move from the one-way street to go to Hue Street.

The one-way street sign on Hue Street is useless, even with the presence of traffic police officers.

On Trang Thi Street, near the head office of Hoan Kiem District’s police force,

cars park on the sidewalk and the road, ignoring the “No parking” sign.

However, around 100 meters from the “No parking” sign is another sign that allows parking.

There is a “No parking” sign at Nha Chung – Trang Thi intersection but many cars still park there.

Some cars even park on the walkway for pedestrians….

… and in front of the gate of a primary school.

The reason is: besides the “No parking” sign is the sign allowing parking for a fee,

provided by the Hanoi Department of Transport.

In front of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on Cat Linh Street,

tens of cars park on the sidewalk….

… and the roadway, though traffic jams happen all the time in this area.

Cars park near the road sign “road for pedestrians, no parking”.

At Trung Hoa – Nhan Chinh new residential area, chaotic traffic scenes often happen at “No parking” area.

Cars parking on pavement, roadway causing traffic jams.

Near the “No parking” sign on the pavement of Le Duan street are long lines of motorbikes.

It is similar on Pham Ngoc Thach Street.
