Bus stations must also comply with procedures to ensure traffic safety for vehicles entering and exiting the station; inspect, control, and prevent vehicles that do not ensure technical safety; and coordinate with police forces and local authorities to create action plans to ensure security and order.
The departments direct businesses in their respective locality to arrange a sufficient number of vehicles, drivers, and service staff; ensure good technical condition of the vehicle; prohibit drivers or on-board service staff from violating the continuous driving time limit or operate the vehicle after drinking alcohol; fully transmit data from journey monitoring equipment and cameras in accordance with regulations; and promptly correct drivers' behaviors that cause traffic insecurity.
In particular, transport enterprises must not increase freight rates or if they do, they must meet measures to stabilise transportation fares according to the direction of the Government and relevant ministries and branches.
Preferential ticket prices for people in difficult circumstances and people with disabilities will also be provided.
In addition, departments will coordinate with functional forces to check the technical safety conditions of vehicles and vehicle drivers; widely publicise the hotline phone number to receive feedback from people about traffic order and the safety situation, and promptly direct and coordinate with authorities to resolve and overcome accidents. — VNS
