VietNamNet Bridge - The Government Inspectorate will be responsible to review the activities of the HCM City People's Committee Chairman Le Hoang Quan and several heads of administrative agencies in the city within 70 days.

The information was just released by the Government Inspectorate, saying that the inspection is to implement the laws on inspection, settlement of complaints, denunciations and anti-corruption.

According to the decision signed by the Government Inspectorate Deputy Chief Nguyen Chien Binh, the inspection team consists of nine members, led by Mr. Vo Van Dong, Senior Inspector and Chief of the Department III of the Government Inspectorate.

The team will review Mr. Quan’s activities and responsibility from 1/1/2011 to 31/5/2014. The team will work over a 70-day period from the date of publication of the inspection decision (August 6).

Chief of HCM City People's Committee Office,  Vo Van Luan, said the inspection is a normal and periodic task of the Government Inspectorate of the city’s chairman and the heads of other administrative agencies in HCMC.

Ho Chi Minh City has recently been one of the hotspots for complaints and denunciations, mostly in the areas of land, site clearance, and land compensation.
