A concert will be held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on April 17 and 18, featuring international award-winning artists.

On the first day of the “Meeting with the World Music Talents” concert, violin soloist Stephane Tran Ngoc will perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto Op. 61 while piano soloist Nguyen Viet Trung will play Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23.

Stephane Tran Ngoc is a Paris-born violinist who won the Grand Prix and Special Audience Prize at the Long-Thibaud 1990 International Competition. He has performed in more than 30 countries as a soloist with some of Europe’s finest orchestras including the Radio France Philharmonic and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic, and the Japan Shinsei Symphony Orchestra.

Pianist Nguyen Viet Trung was born in Vietnam in 1996 and grew up in Poland. He won second prize at the International Piano Competition Chopin for the Youngest in 2010 and the Grand Prix at the national piano competition in Kracow in 2014.

The second day of the concert will feature piano soloist Eric Lu perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, and piano soloist Kate Liu play Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 Op. 23.

Eric Lu is a Chinese-American classical pianist born in 1995. He won the 2017 International German Piano Award and the 2015 U.S. National Chopin Competition.

Kate Liu was born in Singapore. She won the Bronze Medal and Best Mazurka Prize at the 17th International Fredyryk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland in 2015.
