Four foreign clubs will take part in the 6th international women’s volleyball tournament which is scheduled to begin in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang on February 18.
Australia’s national team, China’s Jiangsu club, the Republic of Korea’s Yang Sang club and Thailand’s Air Asia Suansunanthan club will compete against VTV-Binh Dien, LienVietPostBank, Vietcombank, and Pacific Petro Construction and Installation Corporation (PPC).

The eight teams will be divided into two groups to play in a round robin format to select four group winners for the semi- and final games.

Organisers will present cash prizes to the best individuals and teams of the tournament totalling nearly US$30,000. The winners will receive a US$12,000 award.

The week-long event is being jointly organised by Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Television (VTV), the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and Hau Giang province.
