The French film, which won eight nominations and The Best Actor award in Cesar Awards 2012, will be screened in Vietnam for the first time in mid June.

The film is based on the story of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo, the heir of an important French aristocratic family, an art collector, who had the perfect life: a wonderful wife, two beautiful children, a position as manager with a leading champagne producer… until a paragliding accident left him an invalid… before his wife died of septicaemia three years later.

These two consecutive tragedies would have been the undoing of many a man. But, in the case of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo, an encounter, unexpected to say the least, changed everything: Abdel (renamed Driss in the film) a young man from a troubled housing project, vain, proud, brutal, volatile unbearable but above all… human, who was able to renew his desire to live.

Through the film, the audience will see the confrontation between two characters, two minds, two personalities, two temperaments, two visions of life, two diametrically opposed cultures, which lead to comic situations with the humour charged with tenderness.

The film, which has won Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix, will be shown at cinemas in Hanoi as of June 15.
