VietNamNet Bridge –The Vietnamese and Lao ministries of Investment and Planning have signed a strategic co-operation agreement for 2011.

The agreement, signed during Minister of Investment and Planning Vo Hong Phuc's trip to Laos this week, includes the training of economic planning managers and the dispatch of experts and lecturers to assist Lao teachers in compiling curricula.

During his three-day trip, which started yesterday, Phuc was received by Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong, who committed to creating favourable conditions for effective co-operation between enterprises while praising Viet Nam's effective investment and co-operation in Laos.

Phuc confirmed that the two sides would continue to increase their co-operation. The two sides will jointly build a bilateral co-operation strategy focusing on training, investment and planning.
