FPT affiliate starts human resources project with Tran Anh Co

FPT IS and Tran Anh Computer Company yesterday started deploying Oracle's enterprise resource planning (EPR) on a human resources project in Ha Noi.

Under the project, FPT IS will develop module reports on financial accounting, sales management, purchasing management, inventory management and system management for Tran Anh Company, including its headquarters, branch offices and supermarkets in an estimated 11 months.

Mai Cong Nguyen of FPT IS said the deployment of this project on human resources was essential to the development of an organisation and an enterprise.

Kaspersky launches Vietnamese protection software

Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 and Kaspersky Internet Security on Wednesday introduced a version of the programme for Viet Nam.

This version would protect Vietnamese computers from viruses, Trojan, spam and hackers, and would be equipped with cloud computing technology to quickly respond to threats.

The product, which was jointly implemented by Kaspersky Lab and Nam Truong Son Company, would be officially sold beginning next month. Around 2.5 million people in Viet Nam have bought the authorised antivirus software.

VN positioned fourth in mobile internet advertising market

Viet Nam came in fourth globally among large earners for mobile internet advertising, and despite growth softening, delivered 1.7 billion advertisements in the third quarter.

BuzzCity, a provider of global advertising services on the mobile internet network, forecast that the number of people with access to mobile internet in Viet Nam would regularly increase as entertainment and related content were developed.

BuzzCity's managing director K F Lai said online advertising and digital marketing would account for an increasing amount of market turnover in the next three years, emphasising the priority of using mobile phones in advertising and marketing strategies.

Vinaphone provides Vstore entertainment service for users

The Viet Nam Post and Telecommunications Corporation (Vinaphone) has announced its intention to open a trial portal Vstore that would provide music, games, applications and images to its subscribers for free.

Accordingly, its subscribers would be able to use the services and share the functions with their friends.

The provider also launched a service that provides socio-economic information to its subscribers.

Online shopping website to trial for business promotion

The Viet Nam E-Commerce and Information Technology Agency (VECITA) will debut the websitewww.TuanMuaSamTrucTuyen.vn from November 14 to 27 with the aim of promoting business activities related to e-commerce.

At the opening, five prestigious companies registered to join: Vietnam Airlines, Vietcombank, Vietnam Data Communication Company (VDC), SmartLink Card Services Joint Stock Co (SmartLink Card), and ICEL Consultancy and Training Joint Stock Co.
