VietNamNet Bridge – An Italy-Vietnam Fashion Council has been established with the participation of famous Vietnamese designers Minh Hanh, Cong Khanh and Quang Nhat and President Stefano Dominella of the Gattinoni Fashion Corporation from Italy.

In recent years, many exchanges and fashion shows between designers of the two countries have been held. The council will promote cooperation between the two fashion industries.

To mark the birth of the council, the Gattinoni Group and the Italian Embassy in Vietnam will host a fashion show at the Museo Di Roma Museum on September 17.

The four Vietnamese designers are selected to attend the show, including: Minh Hanh, Cong Khanh, Quang Nhat and Lan Huong.

Each designer will introduce four collections, reflecting different personalities: Minh Hanh with designs on jeans and brocade, Cong Khanh with patterns featuring white flamingos and red-headed cranes, Quang Nhat with materials like linen and jewelry made from gemstones, and Lan Huong with hand-embroidered silk ao dai.

Museo Di Roma is a famous museum that was built in the Renaissance (1782- 1812). In 1949, it became the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior. In 1952, the building was renamed the Museo Di Roma. The museum holds many masterpieces and also hosts many exhibitions in art and fashion.
