The ceremony served as an opportunity to showcase the great interest and support from leaders and enterprises of both nations in contributing to enhancing bilateral ties and economic cooperation between Vietnam and RoK.

The ceremony was attended by Party Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong, who was paying an official visit to the RoK, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Xuan Hai, Head of the ASEAN-RoK Development Planning and General Affairs Centre Hae Moon Chung, and many other high-ranking officials from both countries.

VietJet recently launched direct routes from Incheon and Seoul in the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Da Nang and Hanoi and at the ceremony, the airline announced a plan to open a new route connecting Busan with Hanoi in the very near future.
