September 3 becomes Vietnam Music day

*The Prime Minister has decided to choose the third day of September as the annual Vietnam Music Day, Vietnamplus reports.

The day is the chance to honor the musical merits. The Government will allocate fund from the state budget for the Vietnam Association of Musicians to host the event.

In his decision, the Prime Minister suggests that the Music Day be organized in such a way for artists to promote the charm of Vietnam’s traditional and contemporary music, to compose good musical works as well as to educate young people to attend more to national cultural values.
