This year, visitors to Hanoi will be able to enjoy the wonderful view of the blossoming Sakura cherries under the gentle spring sun at the statue of King Ly Thai To, near Hoan Kiem Lake.

The 3-day event running March 12-15 will exhibit some of the best Japanese cherry tree gardens for sightseeing with as many as 10,000 branches of blossoms and 20 trees along with many flowers and ornamental trees native to Vietnam.

This is an opportunity for people to enjoy pure beauty of the cherry blossoms as well as for them to obtain a better appreciation for the traditional cultural beauty of Japan, says Mr. Quy.
