Dinh Dong scored the only goal for the visitors, which was sandwiched between the two goals scored by the hosts.

Today they will meet each other again in the second leg.

Their third match is against Shonan Bellmare Club tomorrow, June 12.

The Japan tour is one of activities being done by Viet Nam in preparation for the ASEAN Championship from October 8 to 18 in Indonesia.  

Ha Noi 1 taste first defeat in championship

Ha Noi 1 are still on the top with 19 points. However, their position is in danger as second-placed HCM City will play Ha Noi 2, a weaker rival, this afternoon.

HCM City have 17 points, and a win over Ha Noi 2 will give them the top spot.

In another match yesterday, TNG Thai Nguyen were tied 0-0 by Viet Nam Coal and Minerals.
