The Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange has announced it will present its 13th annual Christmas Concert on December 16 in the courtyard of its facilities at 27 Quang Trung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

At the event, a choir of 22 singers, strings quartet and pianist from the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet will perform classic Christmas carols such as Silent Night, Joy to the World, Halleluja!, Pachelbel’s Canon along with a festive selection of popular Japanese pieces.

Christmas is celebrated all over the world even in Vietnam and Japan, says the Japan Foundation, noting they hope everyone will show up to enjoy the beautiful songs and music this concert has on offer.

The concert will run for 8-9 p.m. and seating is limited to approximately 250 so please get tickets early, says the Japan Foundation, adding they wish everyone A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Tickets are free with each person entitled to two.
