Miss Vietnam Festival 2017 was held at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, on June 10-11. The event aims to boost cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

Rika Takeuchi, 26-years-old, is an actress, MC and model in Japan. Vietnamese fans know her as an actress in three music videos of Vietnamese singer Noo Phuoc Thinh.

She beats the other 14 contestants to win the pageant. Contestants in the final round compete in Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) performance and talent competition.
