A 72-year-old Japanese photographer Ohsaku Eiichirou has taken 394 photos of birds and butterflies during his two-week visit to Vietnam.

The photos, taken at Cat Tien National Park, Long Hai Township in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Gia Dinh and Le Van Tam Parks in Ho Chi Minh City, will be gifted to the management board of Cat Tien National Park.

He said that he is fond of capturing all the moves of kingfishers such as taking perch, flapping wings, and flying.

Ohsaku has spent more than 45 years photographing about 350 species of birds and 125 species of butterflies.

He also attended more than 30 photo exhibitions in Tokyo, Japan.
