On June 27, VinUni held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022-2026 and the inaugural medical cohort of 2020-2026.

According to Dr. Le Mai Lan, Chairwoman of the VinUni University Council, the university awarded degrees to 200 graduates this year, including 47 medical doctors.
They are the first graduates of the university's international-standard Doctor of Medicine program, jointly designed by VinUni and the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Several graduates have already passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), opening opportunities for further medical training and clinical practice in international healthcare systems.
Among the graduates is Japanese student Yamada Homi.
Throughout her studies, Homi focused on pathology research and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine while actively participating in student leadership initiatives and international collaborations. She passed the Basic Pathological Sciences examination and contributed to several international research projects.
Homi plans to pursue specialist training in anatomical pathology in Australia, with a long-term focus on medical research and AI applications in healthcare.
Among the university's outstanding graduates is Nguyen Thi My Hao, the principal investigator of a study on HPV vaccination coverage and the lead author of a paper published in the Q1 journal Vaccine: X.
She graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0, earned a place on the President's List twice and the Dean's List five times.

Dr. Le Mai Lan said that beyond the medical program, 23% of this year's graduates have received offers to pursue master's degrees at leading international universities, including the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Nanyang Technological University, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Peking University, the Australian National University and the University of Queensland.
Overall, more than 55% of the Class of 2026 secured job offers before graduation from companies including SAP, IBM, Amazon, TikTok, Shopee, PwC, Boston Consulting Group, VNG, FPT Software and Unilever.
"From today, your journey is not only about going further, but also about giving more. Success should not be measured only by your own achievements, but also by your ability to help others succeed. Take your youth, talent and aspirations to the places that need you most. I wish you every success. But more importantly than success, I wish you a life filled with purpose," she said.
