Jonathan Dunn has taken over as the chief representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Vietnam, replacing outgoing Sanjay Kalra Kahn who has finished his four-year tenure.

Mr. Jonathan Dunn meets with SBV Governor Nguyen Van Binh.
“Dunn takes over at a crucial time for the IMF as the organization is working closely to bridge ties with Vietnam,” said Nguyen Van Binh, governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) at a July 29 reception for the incoming IMF chief.
Previously Dunn had served stints as IMF chief representative in Bangladesh and Tajikistan.
